Description
Cosmesis of the Mouth, Face and Jaws aims to provide a definitive resource for clinicians interested in facial cosmesis. Covering the core repertoire of cosmetic facial and dental procedures, this landmark text will provide thorough and pragmatic clinical guidance in each area, as well as discussion of the relevant biological and scientific background, evidence (where available), and detection and avoidance of complications. A unique, whole-face, approach to cosmetic procedures is taken, focusing on oral, facial and gnathic components.
The first book on facial cosmesis written by and for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Cosmesis of the Mouth, Face and Jaws will draw together contributions from experts in each field under the aegis of one editor to produce a cogent and cohesive volume on facial cosmesis, which, it is hoped, will act as a cornerstone for those studying and expanding their repertoire into this vast and absorbing area, and also provide more experienced clinicians with a reference. Clear and precise text is necessarily accompanies by a wealth of clinical illustrations in full color throughout.
