Author Information:

Oreste Iocca, DDS, is a Fellow Researcher at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He is also a part-time lecturer at the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), where he actively collaborates with the Departments of Oral Surgery and Periodontology/Implant Dentistry. He gained his DDS in 2009 from the Magna Graecia University, Catanzaro, Italy, and subsequently attended as a Research Fellow in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Bologna, Italy, and as a Postgraduate Resident in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NYUCD. In addition to his practice in Oral Surgery and Implantology, Dr. Iocca has research interests in the treatment of the periodontally compromised patient, bone regeneration procedures, and oral medicine.
